Supaste
A visual clipboard manager for Mac with searchable history, screenshot OCR, a notch shelf, and quick paste shortcuts.
Supaste is a visual clipboard history manager for macOS that automatically saves copied text, links, images, code, colors, files, and screenshots. Instead of keeping everything in a simple text list, it organizes clips into a searchable library with visual previews, source-app filtering, and custom categories. Saved items are accessible through a MacBook notch shelf, a Quick Paste panel, or a full Library window.
Find and reuse anything you've copied
Supaste makes previously copied content available without repeatedly switching between applications.
- Visual clipboard history: Browse copied items as previewable cards, grouped by content type, source application, or custom category.
- Notch shelf: Access saved text, images, SVGs, colors, and files from a panel at the top of the screen, with drag-and-drop support.
- Quick Paste: Press Control + Command + V to search and paste saved content. Additional shortcuts retrieve recent clips directly.
- Screenshot OCR: Extract searchable text from screenshots and copied images, making information inside images easier to find again.
- Custom organization: Create collections for projects, reusable templates, code snippets, design assets, and other frequently used content.
- Inline text expansion: Assign abbreviations to saved clips and type them to insert reusable text or templates.
- Multi-Clip Copy: Combine multiple copied items into a single reusable clip.
More than clipboard history
Supaste includes a screen color picker, text capture, quick notes, clip reminders, and configurable keyboard shortcuts. Smart Auto-Filter helps organize saved content, while Apple Intelligence integration provides text rewriting and summarization on supported Macs.
Optional iCloud sync keeps clipboard content available across compatible Macs, and Dropbox integration supports file sharing.
Privacy, compatibility, and licensing
Supaste stores clipboard history locally and offers controls to pause capture, save clips manually, exclude specific applications, and automatically delete older unused items. It also attempts to identify sensitive information, although automated detection cannot guarantee that every password or credential will be excluded.
Screenshot monitoring may require additional macOS permissions. Optional synchronization, sharing, link previews, and license validation can involve network access.
Supaste requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later. It is sold as a one-time purchase rather than a subscription, with lifetime updates advertised. There is no free trial, and activation requires a valid license key. The installer is delivered after purchase through Polar.
